Welcome to IOER library!
In our specialised library for spatial sciences, you will find about 20,000 books and about 120 journals on the topics of ecological spatial development. This information is available not only to employees of the IOER but also to the interested public - for example, to students at the TU or HTW Dresden.
To search our library collection, please use the search functions in our online catalogue (in the menu bar on top).
It's possible to use the search tool in a simple or extended way.
Furthermore, you have the possibility to study the research results of the IOER ("Publications").
Before visiting our library, please note the opening hours and ideally notify the library team by telephone before your visit. Here you will also receive answers to your questions about our collection, access options and the terms of use. Registered users of our library can borrow books. Journals can only be read on site by non-IÖR staff. A photocopier is available for making instant copies.
The IOER library cooperates with the Saxon State and University Library Dresden (SLUB) and is a member of both the Leibniz Association's Working Group on Libraries and Information Institutions and the Dresden Working Group of Special Libraries (AK-BIB) as well.
